Washington has a great way to punish players who fight during practice (Video)

Things can get heated on the football field, even amongst teammates — especially during the dog days of preseason camp.

It happened Friday at Washington, with wide receiver Quinten Pounds and cornerback Jordan Miller getting into what Seattle Times reporter Adam Jude called a “scuffle” during practice.

Chris Petersen and the UW coaching staff evidently have a unique way of dealing with such instances. Watch this:

Yep, the two had to walk the exterior of the practice field while holding hands.

Is it kind of cruel? Yes.

Is it kind of funny. Also yes.

Is it effective? Probably.
